Gary Soto's Tree House

SO here are my Tree House Designs for Gary Soto. It turned out A LOT better than my kitchen. I was really trying to get a mood in these pieces, and I accomplished that, but i guess a little too much. Well, revisions are due next week, so i am gonna get started on those, clean up my photoshop paintings, simplify, and just make them clearer. I even built a model of my treehouse, i wish i had done that earlier, i will post pictures of that next time with my final versions... and i am also now working on the locksmith character idea...

Gary Soto: 1950's Kitchen

These are my final kitchen paintings for the Gary Soto Kitchen Project. I struggled a lot with composition and shapes. I learned a lot though, and am applying what I learned toward the tree house. Hopefully i will find some time to go back and revise the kitchen. They were my first photoshop paintings, and that was a lot of fun.

Here is my first pass on Gary Soto's Kitchen project. We have to design a kitchen for the character gary soto, based on his writings. It takes place in the 1950s, in Fresno, CA.

Went out with my mom's watercolor group. It was a lot of fun...

Summer...

so....i lost my sketchbook a few weeks ago. Which SUCKS...cuz all my summer work had been in it...and I kind of lost motivation for awhile after that...

I dont really know what to work on, with taking viz dev in the fall. Im just trying to draw and analyze. But even that is failing...uh oh.

i am getting so caught up in my work experience, and hanging out with my co workers all the time and doing spontaneous things. I guess Im just trying to have fun and relax before it all ends. But my work ends in two weeks, then im off to Germany and Switz. and i cant WAIT to draw then.. WOOT!

but i got a new sketchbook. Here is some work from it.

I posted these up for my mom (I love you!). I keep forgetting to post new stuff for her. She's my biggest fan!

I am posting some stuff from my pinnacles camping trip with my dad, and just some random sketches out of my sketchbook. Which i just finished, finally. And then some from my new book.
